With Standard AWD and Plenty of Features, the New 2020 Subaru Impreza is Unlike any Other Commuter Car

Early new versions of the 2020 Subaru Impreza have been spied over in Japan, but the updated version of the popular small sedan and hatchback will make its way over to our Boone, NC Subaru dealership before you know it. But for now, we'll stick with what we know about the all-around excellent current Impreza model, a small, efficient commuter with AWD capabilities and more. Check it out today by visiting our Subaru dealer near West Jefferson and Newland.

What's New for 2020?

The early news out of Japan is a slight redesign of the new Impreza sedan, and we're sure the hatchback version will see similar updates to its styling. The alteration are subtle, with some chrome exterior finish around the front fog lights and slightly lower grilled than what's seen on the current version.

Performance and Capabilities

Like the current version, the upcoming 2020 Impreza will most likely use an efficient 2.0-liter four-cylinder, worth 152 horsepower. By earning up to 38 mpg on the highway, even with the standard Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, you have one of the best commuters for the Banner Elk and West Jefferson areas.

Safety and Technology

The current edition of the Impreza includes a wealth of features. In the base level, you get a touchscreen command center, Bluetooth, smartphone integration and more. You can add the Subaru EyeSight safety suite to the fold, which gives driver aids like automatic reverse braking, adaptive cruise control and more to the mix. We'll be sure to let you know if anything changes for tech and safety in the new 2020 Subaru Impreza when we actually get any amount of information about the update. The 2020 Subaru Impreza will be here one day, and when its arrival date gets closer, you'll receive far more information about what's new to the mix and what you can expect out of this small car. Until then, make your way over to Modern Subaru of Boone today and see if the current Impreza is the right fit for you.
