For everyday travels, fuel efficiency is key. You never know when gas prices will shoot up, but even if they're low in this region, you'll want to avoid the gas station as often as possible. Beyond going toward a hybrid vehicle, an efficient small sedan or hatchback might be your best fit. If that's the style you want, then look no further than at the new 2018 Subaru Impreza, offered as a four-door sedan or five-door hatchback.

Here at our Boone, NC Subaru dealership, we have plenty of great new 2018 Impreza editions that have just arrived, but they won't stay here long. The blend of standard AWD capabilities with strong efficiency ratings really sets the new Impreza apart from the rest of its class, so visit our Subaru dealer near Lenoir, Wilkesboro and North Wilkesboro today.

2018 Subaru Impreza Engine, AWD and Capability

Visiting our Subaru dealership from Elizabethton, Banner Elk, West Jefferson or any of the surrounding communities means you'll be able to find a great new Impreza that's both efficient and capable, thanks largely to the standard AWD. Subaru's Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive is an advanced take on the popular system, providing better traction and control than with other automakers' systems. Furthermore, AWD is barely even available with small hatchbacks and sedans, unless you're willing to look at ultra-pricey luxury brands, let alone coming standard like with the Impreza.

From there, the base 2.0-liter four-cylinder cranks out 152 horsepower to all four wheels, while you'll be able to earn up to 37 mpg on the highway. That figure is impressive on its own, but especially when you consider that the Impreza has an AWD system, which usually drops gas mileage a bit.

2018 Subaru Impreza Technology, Features and Safety

Efficiency and standard AWD are two qualities Subaru is proud to prioritize in its vehicles like the new 2018 Impreza, for sure, but technology is also important. In today's modern, go-go-go world, staying connected is as important as ever, and the standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration will provide you with an easy (and safe) way to use functions to make and answer calls, and to access different entertainment apps. Other great features include Bluetooth, a rearview camera, a touchscreen and a USB port. Available options found in higher trims include the likes of heated front seats, a sound-reducing windshield and more.

Safety is key in any Subaru, and the Impreza offers the great EyeSight driver assistance suite. Offered in the Premium, Sport and Limited trims, the Subaru EyeSight suite bundles adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with automatic braking, automatic reverse braking, and lane departure warning and mitigation, giving you some great tech to keep you out of harm's way.

What's New in the 2018 Subaru Impreza?

The 2018 Impreza carries over largely unchanged from the 2017 model year, which was a fresh redesign. The only upgrade worth mentioning is the automatic wipers are now standard with the Premium, Sport and Limited trims.

2018 Trim Levels:
